What you will learn

Whether you are reading a simple article or using the most complex web app, every page you see in a browser is delivered as HTML and styled with CSS. This powerful duo is the foundation of front-end web development and the perfect place to start your coding journey.

In this course you will learn how to write clean, standards-compliant code, and you will become acquainted with the fundamentals of design geared specifically for the web. We will get you setup with a text editor on day one, and by the end of our 10 weeks together you will have created your first responsive website to present to the world.

Lucas is an independent front-end web developer, designer and instructor with over 10 years of experience. As a designer-turned-developer, Lucas is passionate about introducing beginners to CSS and spreading the word that coding is accessible to everyone.

No, this course welcomes beginners who have never written a line of code before, or those who have tinkered with a minimal amount of code.

You will need to be ambitious, focused, willing to work on your own time, and be receptive to learning new things. You will also need to bring a laptop. (Mac Preferred but not necessary)

Only those candidates which we feel will benefit the most from this course will be accepted.

The course is limited to a maximum of 20 students. Seats tend to fill up quickly so make sure to apply as soon as possible.

Yes, we use Slack as our main communication tool. Instructors, TA’s, students, and alumni are usually online to help out if you have a question.

Tuition for the course is $2,495 and is payable before the start of the course.

Once you are accepted into the course, you will be required to pay a $250 deposit to secure your seat. The remaining balance is due before the first session.

Yes, you will receive an $800 discount on the full-time course if you take this course.
